The Den

Lympne | Kent
A quirky cottage that has been thoughtfully renovated and has the unique feature of being attached to an original World War II pillbox. The location set on the escarpment above Romney Marsh gives the property far reaching views to the sea, hence the position was excellent for a look-out post. The Den is a tranquil haven and comfortably sleeps two, it has a small patio overlooking a wild flower meadow, pretty gardens and countryside. Ideal for couples looking for a quiet getaway with wonderful countryside and coastal walks on your doorstep. Just down the road you will also find Port Lympne Wild Animal park which provides a fantastic day out and sometimes the animals can even be heard from the house. A public footpath leads from just behind the house, through the fields down onto Romney Marsh. Lympne Castle Bistro in the village is perfect for eating out, or the nearby village of Aldington has two good pubs and a village store.
