Gorgeous shepherds hut 5/5
Kristina has thought of everything! There are so many nice little details and every amenity you could think of. Plenty of hot water and logs for the fire pit. It's a unique stay to be surrounded by sheep and lambs in a picturesque location. We were even given the opportunity to feed the lambs ourselves!

We had the best stay for my wife's birthday. Lovely surroundings, peace and quiet. The Rumwold hut was beautifully presented and well kitted out with everything you'd need. Helping to feed the lambs was just wonderful. Will certainly look to go and stay again.

A wonderful shirt get away 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rumwold shepherds hut. Perfect location for seeing the local area, we spent a day at Port Lympne and had a Sunday roast at The Woolpack Inn not far away. The communication and services have been brilliant, the little touches and aesthetic were wonderful. We are planning to come back with our little one and stay at the family hut in the spring.

Birthday/Anniversary Getaway 5/5
My wife and I wanted to find somewhere really nice and quiet away from our busy lives, to spend our anniversary and birthdays just after the 6 weeks holiday.
On arrival, we found the parking and shepherds hut very easy to find.
When we opened the doors to the hut we were both in amazement of what the inside looked like. It was better than the pictures.
The bed and pillows were incredibly soft, the hut was warm and cozy, the outside area was perfect to sit and chat. The views were beautiful especially being able to lay in bed and watch the sun set perfectly. We purchased a breakfast box which was really tasty. It was the most getaway for us to recharge and celebrate. We will be booking again. :)

From the moment of booking, the experience of interacting with Bloom Stays was lush. From the detailed preparation information to the welcome text, they have considered every part of your journey. The hut itself was stunning and had everything you could need for a comfy stay. Not to mention the stunning views and of course, all of the sheep. Perfect escape - we'll be baaaa-ck! 5/5
Rumwold was a perfect escape and getaway from the heat of the city during summer well definitely be back!
We stayed in Rumwold during one of the July heatwaves and found it to be a brilliant antidote to Londons heat and intensity. The farm is such a peaceful place to spend time, and waking up and spending time around the friendly sheep was a wonderfully relaxing experience. We loved being able to buy Romney wool, and were exceptionally grateful to Kristina who allowed us to spend time with some of the bottle feeding lambs too!
The hut was beautifully appointed and really well equipped. We found a brilliant range of products ready for our use, and loved the range of things that were available we could easily have stayed for much longer and still had all we needed. Perhaps the only thing that wed benefit from is figuring out some way to get a little shade to the outdoor space just so we could make the most of the views all day. The west-facing field allowed us to capture some wonderful sunsets, and the peace and quiet was just what we needed.
And what a wonderful location! With Dymchurch only a 5-10 mins drive down the road, a nearby Tesco Express and plenty of good food options including fabulous take away fish & chips and the Ocean Inn, this was a perfect base for us to explore bits of the Kent Coast.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and cant wait to return in different seasons!

One night in Half Term 4.8/5
Two teachers enjoyed a night away during half term. Cannot fault the communication from the host. Clear instructions upon arrival. We loved the opportunity to feed the lambs. Breakfast items was waiting for us in the fridge already.
We completed the jigsaw puzzle - a few pieces were missing. A knob came off the handle of the the cupboard with fridge and a slat on the put up table was broken. Everything else was faultless.
We enjoyed our time and would return. A lovely pub just up the road served us dinner and drinks.

We had a lovely time staying in the Shepherds hut. It was peaceful being amongst the animals. The arrival process was super easy and Kristina was super helpful and communicative. We loved being able to cuddle and feed the lambs too. We will be back next year!

Perfect country getaway! 5/5
We loved staying during lambing season and getting to feed and cuddle the little lambs. It was so peaceful and there is plenty to do around the area if you have a car such as the white cliffs of Dover walk, visit Folkestone, visit Canterbury, etc. Kristina was a very friendly and communicative host!

Cosy staycation in Kent 4.5/5
We stayed for 1 night in the Rumwold hut at the beginning of May. It was the perfect setting for a quiet countryside retreat and we were able to relax amongst the sheep on the farm
The hut was self catering with all the equipment we needed for cooking, ensuite bathroom, robes and a soft comfy bed. Outside we had a terrace and a BBQ with a dining area
As it was lambing season, we were able to help feed the new lambs which was such a lovely experience
We loved our time here and would definitely come back for another relaxing time away from London

Hut with a view!! 5/5
My daughter and I had the most relaxing peaceful stay in the beautifully decorated Rumwolds hut. We were lucky enough to enjoy lamb cuddles on arrival before walking across the field to our home for the night. We spent the whole afternoon until dusk just sitting outside on the picnic bench drinking tea, chatting, sheep-watching, admiring the view & listening to the birds ! After dark we lit the log burner and kept it on low to see us through the chilly night, with lambs huddled against the fencing while their mums grazed nearby.
The breakfast hamper produce was wonderful & after getting up early to help bottle feed the lambs, we still had time to cook up delicious sandwiches to eat outside with our last cuppa, then all too soon it was time to wave good bye.
until next time .......there definitely will be a next time & we have promised ourselves to stay two nights!

We stayed at this amazing shepherds hut and had the perfect night away. The hut itself was so cosy, with all the amenities and cute little touches we could have asked for.
The location was picturesque , relaxing and calming.
The amazing night was topped off with the best birthday surprise of bottle feeding the baby lambs , which made it all the more exciting.
The host was absolutely lovely and so kind.
We will without a doubt be coming back!

This was our third stay in the huts and it was as amazing as always!!The location is perfect peaceful and perfect on the farm with lovely views around!!
The hut is perfectly equipped with everything you need a comfy bed, hot shower, fridge ,airfryer ,kettle ,toaster etc etc !!a lovely bottle of wine is left for u with cookies and marshmallows!we bought a breakfast box which was lovely with bacon eggs bread and sausages all delicious!!
The place is spotlessly clean and Kristina is on hand if any problems !!Always a Friendly welcome from all the family great to be able to walk around see the sheep and the newborn lambs !!loved having them in the fields around us !!
Will definitely be back again soon !!

This was a last minute booking for my partners birthday and It was everything I expected and more. It was located on a beautiful farm with sheep and chickens. The host provided everything you could've thought of, and we LOVED that it most of it was local produce. We will definitely be booking to stay again, couldn't recommend it more.

Hi. Everything was brilliant apart from the lethal mud getter no to the hut. I appreciate it is a working farm but there needs to be some sort of path to the huts as the mud made it treacherous

Lovely stay but hold out until summer 3.5/5
We had a lovely stay at Rumwold. The location was beautiful and the instructions and information was so clear on their app they sent before you stay - has lots of useful information. The hut itself was in good condition and clean. The bread, milk, wine provided was a very nice touch.
Our main disappointment was no sheep! It was one of the main selling points to us but we assume now that they might be in the field more in summer? It was very cold in the hut despite the fire and small heater so recommend lots of layers. Its a shame more wood wasnt included for free rather than £5 extra considering the price of the hut.
Overall a lovely stay but would definitely hold out until spring/summer next time!

Lovely Relaxing Stay 5/5
I booked this stay as a little get away for my partner and I. Work and life has been busy and stressful lately so so switch off and quiet time was needed.
Our Shepherds Hut Rumworld was fantastic. Warm, cosy and peaceful just what we needed.
We used the fire pit in the evening which was lovely, even toasted some Marshmallows which was fun.
The shower was powerful and hot and the hut was kept warm with the log burner. We also had the breakfast box which set us up for the day.
The sheep were amazing, they had their own personalities and were so fun to watch.
Kristina was so welcoming, we were even there in time for feeding the baby lambs which was amazing.
We definitely felt well rested and calm coming home and would love to visit again in the winter.

Wonderful stay enjoying the peace and tranquility of Romney Marsh with fantastic sunsets and clear night skies. The log burner kept us warm and cosy with marsh mallows kindly left for toasting - delicious. The family made us very welcome with fresh bread from the local bakery, butter and marmalade for a tasty breakfast or a midnight snack whilst star gazing. An absolute treat and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely peaceful stay amongst ewes and their young lambs
woke up to birdsong and baaing
mist on the field and a glorious sunrise..our shepherds hut was toasty warm and comfy
everything had been thought of
A great base for walking or visiting the marsh villages and seaside
popped to Dymchurch for a steam train ride to Dungeoness on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway
a very interesting landscape for a seaside walk and a look at Derek Jarmans cottage and garden.
A trip to St Mary in the Marsh brings you to the church where Edith Nesbit is buried and a delicious lunch at The Star pub opposite
essential to book for Sunday lunch.
Wellies, warm jumpers and raincoats essential for changeable marsh weather..and to keep warm after dark, while toasting marshmallows over the fire pit.

Lovely break and so good to see the lambs 5/5
We had a lovely stay in Rumwold Hut. I would suggest not taking too much with you as space is limited. It was so lovely to see the sheep first thing in the morning when we opened the blinds. We were very cosy and there was plenty of cooking equipment to heat up our dinners. Sadly the weather wasnt great, so we didnt use the outdoor barbecue. Lots of fairly flat walks - we went to Bilsingston via the lanes, returning along the miliatary canal. The White Horse offers good pub grub, including some gluten free options.

Birthday/ Valentines weekend getaway! 5/5
I booked this lovely hut for my boyfriends birthday/ valentines weekend. The booking process was simple and easy. I was offered a breakfast box for an additional cost - which I would highly recommend! I also arranged for a valentines hamper to be in the hut on arrival, which didn't disappoint! The scones were amazing! On arrival the lovely host, Kristina, I believe her name was welcomed us to their home/ farm. She gave us our key and left us to make our way over to the hut and settle in. The hut was lovely, clean and spacious- everything we needed for our weekend away. The hut was decorated with red heart balloons and rose petals which was a lovely touch. Our breakfast box - consisted of bacon, eggs, sausages, bread , butter and milk was already in the fridge ready for the next morning. We enjoyed our cosy indoor log fire which kept our hut nice and toasty. The bed was very comfy and clean. The next morning, we made full use of our kitchen area which had everything equipped. It was lovely to cook, sit and enjoy breakfast with a beautiful view of the marshes and watching the sheep and farm dog roaming around nearby. We was able to check in 1 hours earlier and check out at 12 which gave us a nice slow start to our Sunday morning. The shower was lovely and warm with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturiser all provided by the farm from their own sheep- which smelt lovely. We had a very relaxing, quiet and chilled weekend and will most definitely be returning! Everything is thought about perfectly designed to make your weekend and relaxing and stress free.

Lovely quiet location in middle of sheep. Compact but beautifully appointed accommodation. Good quality welcome pack .
Very handy to visit the Marshes ( we wanted to re-visit a lot of the stunning old Churches of the Romney Marsh) and about 30 mins from Dungeness.
Kristina very friendly and helpful.
The only niggle I would have was the arrival instructions said NOT to use the postcode but to use the road name. Our satnav didn't allow for that so we had to use the postcode and spent a lot of the journey quite anxious we would not end up in the right place. The postcode brought us to the property perfectly so I don't know why we were told not to use.
Would be delighted to return again .

What an adventure!! Not only visiting more of East Sussex and Kent but staying in a Shepherd's Hut on a working farm. It was everything I expected and more. Total comfort with everything, almost, at arms length.
Forget sleeping under canvas or in a caravan, this is the way to go!

Rumwold is so characterful and a brilliant use of a small space. Comfortable bed, very well equipped with incredible views over the marsh. Beautiful sunsets. It is a great location for walking/cycling/great restaurants. Very peaceful at night with visits from the sheep and chickens during the day which was entertaining! A visit to the wool shop is essential.

We had a lovely short stay and wish it was longer. The huts are beautiful surroundings and within an easy driving distance of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway! The hut was spotlessly clean with lovely welcoming touches which made us feel at home. It was fun to watch the farm animals doing their thing - very entertaining!

Not only was the hut very comfortable and clean, it was also full of unexpected, delightful details. The setting was very English and very lovely, with a gorgeous sunset to top of a perfect day in Kent. The sheep made wonderful companions. We left feeling blissful and relaxed. We have visited Romsey Marsh shepherds huts about 3 times. Quality of welcome and accommodation has remained excellent. It is a pleasure being with the sheep and lambs. It is truly a magical place with beautiful scenery unspoilt. Lovely to see the stars in a beautiful dark sky.

Rumwold is beautiful. Perfectly equipped with everything you need and very comfortable and cosy. Lovely peaceful location for forgetting your phone and going off grid with a good book for a few days.
