Another fabulous stay in one of Heather's Shepherds Huts. The huts are super clean and well equipped. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom and firewood for the hobbit stove and fire pit ensured we were cosy. Heather is a great host and very welcoming. We'll be back.

Off grid it is, but what a fab way to escape from the rat race! Views from the site are uplifting. Walks along the Stour Valley, Len Valley and around Egerton recommended. The huts are comfortable and we had all the facilities required to make our stay perfect. Who needs a tent when you can have a shepherds hut!

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at Heather's shepherds hut. It was incredibly clean and thoughtfully equipped. Scenic views and quiet surroundings - we didn't want to leave. Would book to stay here again with no hesitation.

Beautiful location over looking fields.Private, tranquil and peaceful but also a short drive away from larger towns. Local taxi service available. Everything we needed (and more!) was provided. The hosts have thought of it all! The hut and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. Hut is warm and homely. Composting toilet is easy to use and does not smell. Kitchen has every utensil you could ever need. Made good use of the fire pit and brought our own disposable barbecues. Logs, kindling, emergency phone charger, ice blocks and water provided. Very friendly hosts, we will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed an amazing couple of days in this clean, well equipped and comfortable hut.Everything is catered for and we didn't lack anything, from kitchen equipment to plenty of firewood and marshmallows for the fire pit. A great way to relax and unwind off grid in a beautiful part of Kent.

A warm welcome with Heather greeting us and making sure we were happy with everything. The perfect location for a break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We used it as a base for some nice walks in the countryside, pub lunches and relaxing in the peace and quiet.

The Shepherds Hut was the perfect retreat for some rest and relaxation. The accommodation was gorgeous, as was the view and the peaceful surroundings. Heather and Anne have thought of everything you'll need and more (we loved our marshmallows to toast). They were both quick to help with any queries and warm approachable hosts. We hope to return.
