Incredible location! 3.8/5

You couldn’t ask for a better location! Right next to the gorgeous Westgate Gardens, perfect for a stroll, play area for the children, long walks with the dogs and even a spot of punting. Easy walk to restaurants and shops, didn’t need to use the car at all, meant we could all enjoy a drink and relax. The accommodation was very easy to access on arrival day, the house is very clean and well organised if a little small. Great to have garden access for the dogs and very easy parking. The beds however were far too small for two adults sharing so we ended up sleeping with one child each room. Bed was comfortable enough, just too small. Granddad slept on the single bed which was very rickety and uncomfortable. Kitchen was good, clean. We didn’t do any cooking but it was nice to see there was tea, coffee and sugar available. I think it was very expensive for the house it’s self, but we were obviously paying for location and a space for the dogs (extra charge of £35 per day!).

Perfect Location for visiting Canterbury 4.3/5

It was our second time we’ve spent in Cornerways. The house is perfect located to visit Canterbury and the surroundings as well as London. It is located in a very quiet area of Canterbury directly to Westgate Gardens. The kitchen is really well equipped, the Bedrooms has enough space for up to 5 people and the living room has been improved with a new sofa and TV. The only thing what maybe could be improved in the house is the bathroom. For my father (83 years) it was difficult to have a shower in the bathtub. The garden of the house is really beautiful and we loved to have a rest on the nice terrace.

Perfect stay with just a small improvement needed 4.7/5

We had a wonderful stay in this house, perfectly located just a 5-minute walk from Canterbury city centre, through the beautiful Westgate Gardens. Parking was very easy, and finding the keys on arrival was simple thanks to the small lockbox. The house was spotless and truly felt like a peaceful haven. The only area for improvement would be to replace the sofas, which are quite low and not very comfortable, as well as the beds. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect. The customer service was also excellent, with helpful messages sent after our arrival and before our departure, providing us with key information.

Perfect location 4.5/5

This is a lovely house right next to Westgate Gardens, so a stroll across the road and through the gate in the wall and you're by the river for a gentle stroll into town or a run by the river. The house was immaculate, the garden a delight to sit in of an evening. The only slight down side was too low down sofas and too high up tv, so not great for anyone with a bad back or neck, but other than that it was very comfortable. The house was also ideally situated to get to other destinations - highly recommend Whitstable, Wildwood and Wingham Nature Park and Canterbury high street only a five minute walk away to lots of eateries, shops and of course the cathedral.

Top located Property to visit Canterburry an surrounding 4.3/5

We‘ ve spent two weeks in Canterbury as Family. The house is very nice and clean. The kitchen is really well equipped. The garden and Terrace are awesome. For Germans the beds were a little bit small, but everything works at the end . We‘ve felt very comfortable and looking forward to our next stay in Canterbury.

Good value & Sufficient 4.8/5

?We love the location of the property - with Westgate Gardens and river just behind, able to do Cathedral grounds walks, go to the shops and cafes in city centre on foot. Whitehall bridge road area feels very safe. Proximity to the Canterbury West Station allows family members to join from London and leave conveniently. The house is very clean; beds are comfortable; Kitchen is well equipped : appliances, utensils, pots and pans sufficient for cooking. It is quiet in the evening and not hot despite warm days. Improvements - wifi speed can be better - not sufficient for normal online internet browsing for information for a household of five. Hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes would be helpful. Higher thread count and larger bath towels + an extra smaller towel per person for 7 days’ use please. Thicker bath mat too (or quick drying ones), considering there are five adults sharing one bathroom. Hand towels for bathroom and toilet needed. Finally, please replace the awfully low sofa facing the TV. It is too low and uncomfortable! A house for five doesn’t mean only five spaces in the living room. It can be more generous than that. We were fortunate to enjoy sunny dry weather outdoor that week. If we were stuck indoor in the evenings it would have been miserable. All in all we were very satisfied with the property. Suggestions made hopefully are justifiable and for the comfort of future guests.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 days at Cornerways over the Easter break. The house is cosy, clean and tidy. The location is superb for exploring Canterbury - we will be back! X

A beautiful home away from home 5/5

We liked all about the place, you find everything you need for a long stay, well arranged. The back yard and front was nicely landscaped. There's a large beautiful park next to the property and only a few minutes walk to the city center. BloomStay and Elizabeth were super helful!!!

Review 4.2/5

The house is very conveniently located and gives excellent access to both central Canterbury and the riverside footpath leading out of the city. The house is well maintained and very easy to stay in, but the furnishings (sofas, chairs and table) and decor could do with updating. It was very clean on arrival.

Super semi-detached house and garden close to Canterbury 4.8/5

Super semi with three bedrooms and a nice little garden and decking right next to lovely Westgate Gardens and 5 minutes into Canterbury centre. Quiet and great too to have free parking on the large driveway.

Near perfect in every way 5/5

This is a traditional end of a 4 unit terrace/semi-detached type of post war property. it has ample parking alongside the house for up to 3 cars. Secure rear garden. It is very well looked after by the owner and great attention is given to providing everything that guests are likely to need and making it easy for them. The furniture and fittings are not brand new but in good condition and as your own home might be (or better in our case!). The kitchen is very modern and spacious and fully equipped. The location is quiet, across the road from beautiful public gardens and the River Stour, with traffic-free walks to many parts of Kent. The historic city centre and Cathedral is within minutes walking distance. There are pubs, restaurants and shops of every kind. This city is about as good as it gets! Google Maps and Street View do not do any of it justice including the house and location, the reality is far better. It is also dog friendly which is a big bonus for such a property.

Short Term Rental - Remote Working 5/5

Absolutely brilliant ! Mt fiancé and I stayed at Cornerways for 2 months while we were between homes. We decided to use the opportunity of remote working to explore Canterbury while we were between homes and we found Cornerways on Bloom Stays. The rental process was quick and easy and the property is beautiful. A lovely 3 bedroom end of terrace, just across the street from Westgate Gardens, with a stunning garden and only a 10 minute walk from the highstreet. The location is amazing ! The property had everything we needed for out stay and is in a really good condition. The owner and the Bloom Stays agent were both lovely to communicate with and more than happy to help when needed. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be returning ! Would 100% recommend.

Christmas break 4.8/5

We had a fantastic Christmas break at corner-ways the location was great with Canterbury high street within a 5 minute walk, Cornerways was very clean tidy and comfortable. I would like to thank both Bloomstays and Liz the owner for helping us at such short notice to find a home for us to enjoy our Christmas in. As our house is under complete renovation and living in a mobile home on site was not a Christmas we were looking forward to. We would have loved to have stayed longer but due to both mine and jayne’s work we had to leave just after Boxing Day I would just like again to say a big thank you to all involved in our booking

Great location & Fully Equipped 5/5

Stayed for 2 weeks as a family of four. The location is a very very short walk to the city centre and to public gardens (including Toddlers' Cove play area). The house and kitchen are fully equipped with good quality furniture and equipment, very clean and well decorated. The garden is pleasant and shady with fruit trees and there is parking for at least two (maybe 3?) cars which is very valuable for such a central place.
